After the Creative Company Conferences of 2010 and 2011 we adopted a new format and a new name: ‘Creativity Now 2012’, Connect & Collaborate! These conferences are part of the program ‘New Energy in the Creative Axis. This three-year programme (subsidized in part by the European Union), which began in July 2009 and ends on 1 July 2012, has several objectives: to support creative-sector start-ups and re-start-ups, while helping them to develop successfully; to strengthen the creative sector through education and research; and to link the creative sector in Haarlem to that of Greater Amsterdam.
